DWG bracket assembly won't fit in between door and door-frame

DoorWayGym bracket assembly will not fit in a door-frame that has left than a 1 inch gap between the door and the frame.

  • Make sure the door is in the fully open position.
  • Remove clothes rack or other obstacles from behind the door.
  • If a door stopper is being used, remove it.

After assembly the DWG tends to bind during compression and release. Try the following:

  • Tighten T joint set screws
  • Remove the T Joint connectors bolts, rotate  each one 180 degrees and re-attach.
  • Flip T joint connectors reversing sides.
  • Flip T joint connector ends from front to back.

Cannot attach Bracket assembly to Left main bar or Right main bar.

Apply lubricant to such as light grease or WD 40 to end of bar. Re-insert bar into bracket assembly and rotate assembly while applying pressure.  You may want to use a rubber mallet or similar device to tap assembly into the proper position to receive the shoulder bolt.
